On Saturday I was lucky enough to be asked to come down and do a Live Talk and Photography Workshop for the Girl Skate Camp at House of Vans - London.
It was an amazing day, I was overwhelmed with the turnout of really cool girls, all coming down to skate and celebrate National Women's Week.
All the girls I met were all so lovely and it was great to see them so keen to skate and get involved with the scene somehow. I met some very talented musicians, artists, creative bloggers and of course all giving it a go and learning to shred!
At 3pm, I did my first live talk on the HOV sofa sat alongside, the amazing Stef Nurding, Lucy Adams and Daphne Greca discussing issues women face at the moment in society from self image, anxiety to Instagram and is it really worth all this hype! Plus the audience got to hear the back stories of our skate lives and our future plans.
There were some great questions from the audience and I'm just so touched you took the time to come down and meet with us.
You were all so rad and I hope I see you all again soon at the next get together.
Remember be yourself and just have fun skating.
